  17.      _s_n_0_m_s_c performs operations on the Origin and Onyx2 Module System
  18.      Controllers (MSCs).
  19.  
  20.      _W_A_R_N_I_N_G: If used improperly, this command may cause system malfunction
  21.      that is not fixed by system reset or power cycling.  See below for more
  22.      information.

  24.      There are three basic operations controlled by the flags given:
  25.  
  26.      ----rrrr   Reads the MSC NVRAM contents of a specific MSC device
  27.           (eeeellllsssscccc____nnnnvvvvrrrraaaammmm____ddddeeeevvvv) at a specific address (aaaaddddddddrrrr) for a specific number
  28.           of bytes (ccccoooouuuunnnntttt, default 1).  Output is in hex if the ----xxxx flag is
  29.           given, decimal otherwise.

  31.      ----wwww   Writes the MSC NVRAM contents of a specific MSC device
  32.           (eeeellllsssscccc____nnnnvvvvrrrraaaammmm____ddddeeeevvvv) at a specific address (aaaaddddddddrrrr) with a specific value
  33.           (vvvvaaaalllluuuueeee) for a specific number of bytes (ccccoooouuuunnnntttt, default 1).

  35.      ----cccc   Executes an MSC command on a specific MSC device
  36.           (eeeellllsssscccc____ccccoooonnnnttttrrrroooolllllllleeeerrrr____ddddeeeevvvv) and displays the output from the MSC.  Certain
  37.           commands may cause the system to function incorrectly.  Commands
  38.           that include white space must be quoted from the shell.

  40.      The NVRAM contains 2048 bytes.

  42.      A corrupted MSC NVRAM can be repaired by writing zeroes over the entire
  43.      contents of the NVRAM, power-cycling the MSC from the main breaker or
  44.      power plug, and setting the module number back to the correct value.
